On the back of yesterday's 0-0 draw against local rivals Sutherland, the Suns are back in action this Sunday at Bicentennial Park against competition heavyweights Sydney United.  United managed to secure all three points when the sides met in Round 1 and so the Suns will be looking to get one back on the boys from Edensor Park.  Should be another high quality game.

Following a close 2-1 loss on the weekend to the Bonnyrigg White Eagles, the Suns are back in action this Saturday night, 1 May, against Marconi Stallions at Marconi Stadium, kicking off at 7:30pm.  Suns supporters are encouraged to attend the game to give plenty of support to our boys.

Our next home game is scheduled for 3pm on Sunday 9 May 2010 against Sutherland Sharks.  We hope to see as many supporters as possible that day in what will be a tough local derby.  Spectators are reminded to park in the adjoining car park in Bicentennial Park and when leaving the premises, to do so in a quiet and orderly manner.

Rockdale City Suns 2 def South Coast Wolves 1

Last Sunday saw Rockdale City Suns pick up the maximum 3 points after a tough win at WIN Stadium in Wollongong.

Rockdales goals came courtesy of Marino Musumeci and Sam Awad either side of Mark Picciolini’s equaliser for the home side.

Rockdale had a number of chances towards the end of the game to extend their lead but were not able to get past Brody Crane for the Wolves.“I had expected them to be very organised, very mobile, and obviously decent on the counterattack,” Morgan said.

In the earlier fixture, Rockdale's under 20's went down 3-1 to the home side.
